WOW! That's a lot of maps. I'd been thinking of making a dungeon and rebooting a town. I can't decide if I'll call it Mouse Crawl, the Cheese Factory, Rat Trap, Furrow Burrow, Chucnky Cheese, The Squeaker etc (maybe room names). But the town is Mouse Town. Problem is, what do mouse/rat burrows look like underground? Why are they so big? Why so many mouses? I should have done a crypt. People love crypts.

But yeah, you have a lotta maps and it looks pretty cool.

Dwarf Home did go down to 6th level. But those were early maps, around 10-20 years ago. So I am completely redoing the dungeon.

The thumbnails for Dwarf Home level one have been increased from 250 pixels wide to 350 pixels wide so they can be more easily read. Also made the outer glow around all text a bit wider for the same reason. I have also added symbols and doors to the maps.

Ah, thought that might be the case! What’s the source of the water in 121? Something from below or drips from above?

Further down in my dungeons, even after the monster is dead, it is still the characters trial to find the treasure being guarded.

Humanoids might have some small amounts on their persons, but that isn't necessarily the main treasure for that area of that level.

Sorry, didn't see the water question at first.

I haven't decided yet, but there are streams and drips from the above levels. Sunken water area in this room, so it might be the surface visual of a small underground in stone, stream.

Much further down than I have mapped so far, likely there are lakes and a few rivers.

So you’ve got the maps done down this far, how far down have you actually finished stocking it?

I'm contemplating letting whomever uses it to stock it. Probably some suggestions.

In the original Dwarf Home there were Dwarf Relics. Armor that would change the wearer into a Dwarf loyal to the Dwarf King. Along with various items that hill dwarves nearby would pay adventurers when the items are recovered.

Frankly, I've taken on so many mapping projects that I'll have maps to make for years to come.

I want to keep part of level 5. The castle on a 100' high pedestal of stone was a good idea. Anyway, I'm working on that level as I have time.

Level 5 needs me to sit down and make decisions and map.

first map, preliminary, on level 05. I have decided to try a different map naming convention, shown on this map. This level will have 6 columns. I haven't decided on how many rows yet. This new map is only posted here.

Each map will be 300' x 240'. The old maps were 180' x 240'.

Column 6 will be on the left, progressing to the right side of the mapping area for column 1.

Previously 6 levels were mostly mapped, with 11 planned.

Currently 4 are done, with probably 14 planned.

One of the new maps for 5th level. Also I came up with a new map numbering method. Level, column, and row shown on map.

Row 2 map.

1) two trolls, water, 5 skeletons, a torch on the wall

2) a dining area, stove, etc. with a barrier apparently keeping a bow and shield from attacking the diners.

3) store room, treasure

4) a failed defense area. Two opened chests, skeletons of the defenders.

5) two mummies guarding an empty chest, with a chest and two books behind one of the mummies.

6) skeleton at the bottom of a pit, no visible spikes.

7) empty of all but dust.

There are some implied hazards.

Some are with South at the top of the map, some with North at the top of thethat. The southern hemisphere rotated two wsys.

Looking at the maps, they are no good. Looking at them I made very bad scans of the original paper maps.

After fixing up 5 of the maps, I think it would be much easier to just map new ones. The originals are 240' x 180'.

The new ones will be 480' x 360' each. No idea when I'll get them done.
