Could use a bit of a different fill or coloration for the actual farmland. Looks a bit weird when it is indistinguishable from the surrounding grassland.
I think it looks better, it is more clear that there is farmland there. But I still think it could look even better if you used filled polygons instead of symbols for the fields, and perhaps even lined them, for example like it is done in the Atlas Ferraris style:
The only change I'd make to the city wall of the seaport map would be to add one more tower at the of the East breakwater just for the symmetry. The two end towers might even be used as anchors for a chain barrier that could be raised or lowered to block or open the harbor. (There were actually historical harbors that used such a barrier to control access.)
I wasn't suggesting you use the actual ferraris fills, just pointed you to that style to show an example of how it can be laid out.
I guess the fills do work out there though, but I would seriously lower the scales of the fills, they're way to large the way they are now. Also, aligning the fills to follow the road (or something else) will give a more organic look rather than have them all perfectly horizontal. If you look at the ferraris style example I liked to, it also uses rows of threes/bushes on the border of the fields. This both looks good, and is often done in real life too.
To show the world surface map thumbnails, I made html pages. Six columns per page. There is overlap, so the sixth column of such maps, is repeated on the next html page.
Currently, I have 11 done out of 14. These are mostly my original maps... well, these are mostly CC3. You might spot some of my CC2/CC2Pro maps, when I had no one to talk to, and I hadn't yet gone over the booklet tutorials. These are before the essentials pdfs. Some are likely before I joined the now gone Yahoo group. These are mostly much better than my first maps. I'll also be moving Dwarf Home over to this sub-domain.

I think I did make the second map more crowded... but I don't really like crowded buildings. I haven't posted the newest version of the second map.
As for warehouses, I was thinking of using other symbols for that. The larger buildings are from the dark city set, but at size 2.0.
Edit. More large buildings on part 2. But it is bed time for me.
Here is part 2. Evidently I had only imagined I did the second part crowded. Anyway, here it is.
I was going to make smaller parts, but I decided to change that to 1000' x 800' instead.
I'll try for beach rocks and sand, etc. when I can. I'll be rather busy on Monday. My eyes are bothering me a bit today.

I had thought about using the green and yellow farmland symbol, but I am hesitant to use it.

Unfortunately, if I make this map too good, it wont fit with the rest of the maps on Old Crestar.
I might make it better, and submit to the Atlas.
I finally remembered to post that we need more crop/farm plants symbols.
Someone is trying to hack into my domain again. If they are sucessful, I am not going to put it back up. The referrer came from a 'free tools' site.
