Hi and welcome to my Traveller site ! Some GURPS Traveller, some classic Traveller. The planet maps are rather generic and can be used by any version of Traveller.

They live in the Gran-Dal Arm in the area named: Zartal. Columns L thru R and Sectors 15 thru 22. Note the area is L-shaped.
For my game universe, they use vocoders. I first enountered mechanical speaking instruments, vocoders, years ago in some early science fiction stories. So these ‘spider-like’ beings will be using them to talk to non-Memers. This doesn’t mean they will be understandable all of the time.
